Shot-blasting apparatus. The device is designed for shot cleaning of castings, rolled forgings, seams of welded joints, parts after heat treatment, glass, stone and other materials.
The assortment range of foundry equipment produced by our plant includes a cleaning shot-blasting apparatus model 44124. The apparatus is designed for cleaning by shot, forgings, rolled products, welded seams, parts after heat treatment, glass, stone and other materials.
Application area
The equipment is used in the foundry industry as an integral part of wastewater treatment plants.
Product design
The apparatus is fixed to a foundation by means of three supports screwed to the lower chamber. Thus, the lower chamber with the supports is the base of the apparatus on which the following are mounted: from the bottom - the mixing chamber, from the top - the series-bypass valve, the loading device. The valve block is mounted to the upper chamber by means of flange connections.
The electrical cabinet is hung on a wall or on a special rack in a place convenient for servicing the device. The device has a flange in the upper part for connection to the shot storage hopper.
The device performs the following operations: selection of shot from the storage hopper, automatic transportation of shot to the lower chamber, formation of a mixture of shot and compressed air, supply of the mixture to the nozzle nozzle for ejection from the latter onto the treated surface.
The selection of shot from the storage hopper is carried out by means of a loading device, which is a sector gate. The shutter is opened by a single-acting pneumatic cylinder, closed by a tension spring and a counterweight.
The device carries out automatic transportation of shot into the mixing chamber as it is consumed.
A mixture of shot and compressed air is formed in the mixing chamber and is fed through the nozzle sleeve to the nozzle, in which it receives acceleration and shot, and is thrown onto the surface to be treated.
The operating mode is automatic. The device is controlled remotely from the electrical cabinet.
